Bottom Tier - Lincolnshire Poacher Vintage (Cow, Unpasteurised)
Vintage Lincolnshire Poacher is a strong hard cheese somewhere between a continental hard mountain cheese and traditional West Country Cheddar, It has depth and complexity with a lovely smooth lingering aftertaste, often with a hint of sweetness.
Délice de Bourgogne (Cow, Pasteurised)
A French cow's milk cheese from the Burgundy region of France. Crème fraiche is added twice in the cheese making process to produce a rich, full flavour cheese with a melt in the mouth texture.
Barkham Blue (Cow, Pasteurised, Vegetarian)
Blue has a very distinctive appearance, with an attractive natural mould ripened rustic rind. The deep yellow moist interior is spread with dark blue & green veins which have a rich blue yet buttery taste. It won the supreme champion at the 2015 British Cheese awards. It's our favourite blue.
St Oswald (Cow, Pasteurised)
A local rind washed semi-soft cheese from Gorsehill Abbey. it becomes richer, stronger and more aromatic as it ages. With an orange-brown rind and meaty flavour buttery texture. This cheese is so local, we collect it from the farm!
St Eadburgha (Cow, Pasteurised)
Similar to a Camembert or Brie, St Eadburgha is a local white rinded cheese. The texture can become quite soft and the flavours are of field mushrooms and clotted cream. St Eadburgha won the best soft white cheese at the British Cheese Awards 2011.
Cerney Ash (Goat, Unpasteurised, Vegetarian)
A delicious Gloucestershire goats cheese coated with an oak ash/sea salt mix from France
